Jodoque makes a discovery - guest art by Aggie of American Gothic

Feral is back, and how! For the next few weeks, art chores on this comic will be taken over by the fantastic Aggie of American Gothic Daily, a dark romance comic with vampires set in rural Tennessee. Aggie has also done some lovely fan arts for ROCR and has been taking part in both CameoComic and Evil Overlords United, adding her quirky touches to the latter several times a week.

For the same period that Aggie's working on Feral, I'll be taking over art chores on American Gothic Daily. We've been enjoying this swap a lot, and hope you will too; we do things very differently from how they've been done in our respective comics, but that's a big part of the fun!

NOTE: Many of the earlier pages of Feral are still for sale through my ComicSpace galleries, where you can see what they look like in their uncoloured, un-inked state. They're pretty cheap too, and all pages sold will be shipped with a colour print of the finished product.

The force of Jodoque's righteous indignation overwhelms even Jake and Ragnarok.

Faced with the umpteenth time she's been locked up in the cause of justice, Kel has a bright new idea.

We haven't seen Krakatoa in a while... it's hard to tell with the different style and the lack of her colours and costuming, but it's her in the page below.

Krakatoa dreams, and dreams...

There's some confusion over whether the Feral may be foreign, or deaf-mute. And over names.

The inquisition? Oh, yeah, we were expecting you.

The art swap is over, but Aggie is staying on as an artist a little bit longer, to allow me to work on Invasion until that's completed. Remember, you can find Aggie's own work on American Gothic!

Krakatoa starts figuring out just what Bartholomew's problem is, but is then interrupted by an unexpected arrival.

From now on, Feral will be drawn by me again as Aggie's too busy with work, family life and American Gothic Daily. For the time being until we can build up more of a buffer, the comic will be black and white and done in pencil.
